Using my Subaru for a bird blind is a brilliant idea...they have no idea I am there and I am in my comfy leather seat, instead of sitting in the snow or a white plastic chair...
So I slap on my telephoto lens sit back and wait....

I have been thinking of giving this a go from my car because as you say it is amazing how close they will let you get.
